Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Stewarding Manager to oversee the Indiana Convention Center’s Stewarding Department. You will help manage the dish room, storage areas, and other kitchen support spaces, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and efficient operations within the culinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising Stewarding staff, maintaining safety standards, and supporting inventory, equipment maintenance, and timely distribution of banquet items. Night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a food and beverage, hotel, or venue-based environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards; familiarity with Health Department requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Stewarding Department staff to ensure effective and efficient support of overall culinary and food & beverage operations.
• Maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards throughout Stewarding areas.
• Support inventory control, storage, and distribution of supplies; assist in monitoring kitchen and Stewarding equipment for proper maintenance.
• Actively participate in training, scheduling, and supervising Stewarding team members.
• Contribute to the goal of 100% customer satisfaction by supporting culinary operations and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and service excellence.
