We are hiring immediately for a full-time STEWARD position.

Location: Dollar General Corporation - 100 Mission Ridge, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior steward experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
2. Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
3. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
4. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
5. Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment.
6. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
7. Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
8. Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
9. Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
10. Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
