Job summary

Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, NC seeks a friendly, motivated dishwasher to assist both front of house and culinary teams, ensuring proper, prompt and courteous service to all guests.

Responsibilities include breaking down banquet and outlet trays, delivering clean cookware and serving ware, stocking buffet supplies, cleaning the buffet area after meals, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to stand for 8 hours.
• Able to push/pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch, and reach.
• Able to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate company vehicle preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for breaking down trays from banquets and the outlets.
• Responsible for delivering clean cookware and serving ware to various outlets and meeting rooms.
• Get necessary supplies for the buffet, including china, glass, and silverware for functions.
• Clean-up buffet after every meal.
• Receive rolls and put in warmers.
• Check off and pick-up storeroom supplies.
• Assist servers during meal period.
• Remove any extra settings.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work station.
• Responsible for neatly storing all dishes, cookware and utensils in their proper location
