The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Virginia Beach is seeking dependable Stewards/Dishwashers for AM and PM shifts. No previous dishwashing experience required—training provided—to keep kitchens, equipment, and service items clean and ready for use.

Formación

• No previous dishwashing or culinary experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred to understand instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Ensure items are cleaned, sanitized, stored, and ready for use.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and proper operation; report issues.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures; support kitchen staff as needed.
• Complete opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented

Stewards/Dishwashers to join our Culinary team.

Our Stewards are an essential part of our Food & Beverage operation. By keeping our kitchens, equipment, dishes, and service items clean, organized, and ready for use, you help our Culinary and Restaurant teams provide exceptional experiences for every guest.

No previous experience is required—we are willing to train candidates who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen work areas.
• Ensure dishes and service items are properly cleaned, sanitized, stored, and ready for use.
• Maintain clean floors and assigned kitchen areas according to established standards.
• Remove trash and waste from designated areas throughout the shift.
• Clean carts, fixtures, dishwashing equipment, and other assigned equipment.
• Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and proper operation.
• Report equipment concerns, needed repairs, unsafe conditions, or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Follow established sanitation, food safety, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for fellow team members.
• Assist other Culinary and hotel team members as needed.
• Complete assigned opening, running, and closing duties.
• Support special projects and additional assignments as directed by leadership.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for team members who are reliable, hardworking, and willing to support the team.

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Be able to follow instructions and established cleaning and safety procedures.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Be able to lift and carry approximately 30–50 pounds as required.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred to understand work and safety instructions.
• No previous dishwashing or culinary experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Scheduling

We currently have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with:

• AM shifts available
• PM shifts available
• Weekend and holiday shifts required based on business needs
