Des Moines Renaissance Savery is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated food and beverage team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having a motivated staff ensuring event guests are well taken care of.

Responsibilities

• Load, operate, and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any issues immediately.
• Monitor water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycles.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room.
• Ensure adequate levels of clean tableware for dining and kitchen areas.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Segregate and dispose of trash and garbage appropriately.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Perform basic food preparation as needed.
• Clean food preparation and production areas regularly.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Good hearing ability.
• Ability to pull at least 70 pounds.
