Job summary

Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club is seeking a Steward in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The role supports kitchen operations, keeping dishes, pots and glassware clean and properly stocked, while maintaining overall kitchen hygiene.

Training is available and ServSafe certification is a plus. The position pays $18.00 per hour and requires regular attendance, with duties including sanitation, storage, and assisting with daily kitchen cleaning and closing tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler.
• Empties kitchen trash and disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning of dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust.
• Stores dishes and wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Steward:

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Steward:

• No prior experience required but will train.

Other Qualifications:

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Regular and Reliable attendance.
