Job summary

Timber Creek, part of Troon, in Fort Myers, FL, seeks a Steward to support kitchen cleanliness and order. This entry-level role trains the right candidate and offers growth within a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, sanitation across storage and prep areas, and ensuring safe work practices. Attendance reliability is expected; ServSafe is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but will train.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Steward:

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk‑in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
