Aronimink Golf Club seeks qualified individuals interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. The Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and food service areas. This position supports the kitchen team by ensuring that all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly. The Steward also assists with basic food preparation tasks and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

One of the premier golf clubs in America, we are currently ranked as a Top 10 Platinum Golf Club in America. Aronimink Golf Club is set to hold the prestigious 2026 PGA Championship and is undergoing extensive and exciting renovations.

Steward Functions:

1. Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, silverware, glassware, and kitchen utensils. Hand-wash delicate items as needed.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including floors, counters, and equipment. Ensure that garbage and recycling are properly disposed of according to club guidelines.
3. Regularly check and clean kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and refrigerators to ensure they are in good working order.
4. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and deliveries. Ensure that storage areas are clean and organized.
5. Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients as needed.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of chemicals, and ensure compliance with club policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

1. Must be at least 16 years old.
2. Previous experience as a steward, dishwasher, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
3. Ability to operate dishwashing machinery and perform basic food preparation tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
4. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
5. Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
