POSITION SUMMARY
Nemacolin is looking for a guest service steward to maintain cleanliness throughout the main complex. Primary responsibilities will be to wash all glass, silverware, and trays in the service landings of The Chateau as well sorting glassware, so it can be returned to its respected area.
As a Guest Service Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of back of house spaces throughout the Chateau & The Grand Lodge. You will be working closely with the Butler department, housekeeping, and in room dining. Leaders from each department will work closely with you to provide the necessary tools to succeed as areas of focus for daily tasks.

Essential Functions
(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.)
- Wash & Sanitize butler dishes & silverware (teaspoons, saucers, coffee pots etc.)
- Polish Champagne glasses, Trays, and other Coffee service items
- Organize glassware into proper location in each pantry
- Handle waste disposal
- Facilitate tray set up when needed
- Assist in setting up and breaking down coffee service areas
- Collect and sort glassware separated by location & department
- Collaborate with leadership on areas to improve cleanliness
- Control & help reduce breakage
- Assist with putting away coffee service related orders
- Aide and assist other tasks designated by leadership
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- High School diploma required.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, language, communication and relationship building skills.
- Excellent customer/guest service skills – with previous guest service experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office and HOST programs.
- Must be able to speak English fluently.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
- Must be willing to work varied hours – including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts (according to guest needs).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 2-years of customer service or related experience.
