The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated in Murray, UT is hiring a Steward to support all food, beverage, and supply needs in a high-volume restaurant. You will place orders, inspect deliveries, and manage inventory to ensure items meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
• Reliable, punctual, organized team player.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs.
• Place orders while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory logs.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, verify order accuracy, weights, and measurements while ensuring items meet quality standards.
• Stock, zone, and organize inventory in designated areas, including dry storage, coolers, and freezers.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Maintain organized storage systems that support kitchen efficiency and accessibility.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work with speed and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow instructions accurately, completing assigned tasks with consistency and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, fostering positive vendor relations.
• Demonstrate leadership through accountability, problem solving, and upholding standards.
• Multitask and work well under pressure with a positive, patient attitude.

$7.25 - $20.50 / Hour
