Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Steward to support back-of-house operations by ensuring the right food, beverage, and supplies are on hand. This role offers steady hours with part-time opportunities to fit your life, and the chance to grow within a renowned hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs.
• Place orders while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory logs.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying order accuracy, weights, and measurements.
• Stock, zone, and organize inventory in designated areas (dry storage, coolers, freezers).
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Maintain organized storage systems that support kitchen efficiency and accessibility.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs

Your Background

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service industry experience preferred
• Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management, a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
• Ability to maintain accuracy with attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and organized team player
• Dependable, adaptable, and dedicated with a strong work ethic
• Passion for hospitality and contributing to a positive workplace culture
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
• Must be at least 18 years old
