The Cheesecake Factory is seeking a motivated Steward to support our back-of-house operations in Wichita. You’ll manage food, beverage, and supply needs, receive and inspect deliveries, and ensure accurate inventory logs to keep kitchens running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs
• Place orders while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory logsReceive and inspect deliveries, verifying order accuracy, weights, and measurements while ensuring items meet quality standards
• Stock, zone, and organize inventory in designated areas, including dry storage, coolers, and freezers
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Maintain organized storage systems that support kitchen efficiency and accessibility
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
• Work with speed and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Follow instructions accurately, completing assigned tasks with consistency and attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and professionally, fostering positive vendor relations
• Demonstrate leadership through accountability, problem solving, and upholding standards
• Multitask and work well under pressure with a positive, patient attitude

Your Background

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service industry experience preferred
• Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management, a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
• Ability to maintain accuracy with attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and organized team player
• Dependable, adaptable, and dedicated with a strong work ethic
• Passion for hospitality and contributing to a positive workplace culture
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
• Must be at least 18 years old
