Job Requirements

Education: Ability to communicate effectively with the Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.

Training and Experience: Knowledge of dishwashing equipment preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license required. Basic food prep skills are a plus.

Job Knowledge: Understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Job Summary: To provide clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and pots for kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, guests, and members.

Physical Abilities: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in hot and wet environments, and perform tasks such as trash removal.

Job Duties and Functions

1. Be punctual at all times.
2. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
3. Arrive on time consistently.
4. Familiarize with all machinery and safety features.
5. Know hazardous chemicals and their MSDS.
6. Bring in trash cans and mats at the start of your shift.
7. Set up the dishwasher and report any issues.
8. Ensure all pots, pans, glasses, and dishes are cleaned properly.
9. Pre-soak and run silverware through the dishwasher appropriately.
10. Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
11. At shift end, remove waste, clean work area, and perform cleaning tasks.
12. Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.
