Hotel Revival is a boutique hotel in Baltimore seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas, ensuring items are sanitized and ready for service. You will support the culinary team by organizing supplies and assisting with equipment maintenance.

The role requires state-issued food handling certifications and the ability to read safety instructions and manuals. A strong team player mindset and adherence to hygiene standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher; ensure items are cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, countertops, walls, and equipment; sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials; ensure bins are emptied and cleaned regularly.
• Organize kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment; replenish stock for smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area; sanitize tables, chairs, and surfaces.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to address cleanliness concerns promptly.
• Respond to spills or emergencies requiring cleaning.

Hotel Revival is 107 key art-centric boutique hotel located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, home to 19th-century architecture, lush parks, iconic churches, galleries, restaurants, and cultural venues. It embodies Baltimore by showcasing local products, the city's history, and native cuisine. What you'll do:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher; ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before reuse
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, countertops, walls, and equipment; regularly sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen surfaces
• Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials, ensuring garbage bins are emptied and cleaned regularly
• Assist in organizing kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment in their designated places; replenish stock as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators, to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, following proper sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for team members and guests
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure efficient service and address any cleanliness or sanitation concerns promptly.
• Respond to spills, accidents, or other emergencies that require immediate cleaning and attention
