Job summary

Hotel Revival Baltimore is seeking a diligent Kitchen Dishwasher to support our culinary team in Mount Vernon. You will wash dishes, assist with keeping counters clean, floors swept and sanitized, and help organize supplies to ensure smooth operations.

You must hold state-issued food handling certifications as required and be able to read safety rules and manuals. This full-time role offers competitive wages and benefits, and the chance to contribute to a vibrant, community-focused hospitality

• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth service.
• Respond to spills or emergencies promptly.

Job description

Hotel Revival is 107 key art-centric boutique hotel located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, home to 19th-century architecture, lush parks, iconic churches, galleries, restaurants, and cultural venues. It embodies Baltimore by showcasing local products, the city's history, and native cuisine. This award-winning property is internationally recognized for its commitment to the ongoing restoration of Baltimore and its success in social impact.

What you'll do:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher; ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before reuse
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, countertops, walls, and equipment; regularly sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen surfaces
• Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials, ensuring garbage bins are emptied and cleaned regularly
• Assist in organizing kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment in their designated places; replenish stock as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators, to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, following proper sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for team members and guests
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure efficient service and address any cleanliness or sanitation concerns promptly.
• Respond to spills, accidents, or other emergencies that require immediate cleaning and attention

Who you are:
