Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Central Service Technician to provide sterile instrumentation and trays for the Department of Surgery and other hospital departments. The technician works under supervision from the Senior Central Services Technician or Operating Room Management.

Responsibilities include decontamination, inspection, assembly of instrument trays, sterilization procedures, and daily recordkeeping. Strong attention to safety, PPE use, and careful handling of equipment are essential to ensure

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and inspects surgical instruments
• Cleans and decontaminates reusable patient equipment
• Assembles instrument trays and prepares items for sterilization
• Operates sterilizers and records cycle data
• Performs biological monitoring and records results
• Transports clean carts and instruments between departments
• Performs housekeeping to keep areas neat and organized
• Maintains linen inventory and conducts soiled pick-up rounds
• Delivers trays and supplies to OR and supports department workflows
• Uses PPE and follows standard precautions
