Job summary

MAX Surgical Specialty Management in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician to maintain, sterilize, and organize instruments for our Oral Surgery Group. This position supports the surgical team and ensures a sterile environment for patient care.

The role requires knowledge of infection control, adherence to OSHA/CDC standards, and strong organizational skills. Training is provided for sterilization protocols and dental software as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to train in sterilization protocols.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves to sterilize instruments.
• Track and manage instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Clean and disinfect instruments and treatment areas before and after procedures.
• Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and industry safety regulations.
• Document sterilization processes and maintenance logs.
• Set up surgical trays and monitor sterilization equipment.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to maintain workflow.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
