Base pay range

$39.00/hr - $44.00/hr

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Supervisor to support our client’s medical facility based in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287. This is a 13-week contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise all employees on an assigned shift in Sterile Processing (SP), performing duties related to cleaning, assembly, sterilization of surgical instruments, and storage and transport of instrumentation, surgical sets, and patient care equipment, ensuring safety and customer service standards.
• Provide case-picking education and training.
• Coordinate transportation of borrowed instruments and equipment across multiple JHM entities, including clinics, ensuring effective communication.
• Facilitate staff learning through educational programs.
• Monitor and report quality and productivity using measurement tools regularly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6+ years of sterile processing experience, or
• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4+ years of experience with an advanced sterile processing certification (three certifications total), or
• Associate’s degree in sterile processing or related clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Surgical Tech) plus 4+ years of experience.

*Progressively responsible sterile processing experience preferred.

Licensure and Certifications

Certification from CBSPD or CRCST (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) is required. Consideration may be given to CHL certification in place of CER/CFER.

Additional Information

• Pay Range: $39 - $44 per hour
• Start Date: 05/26/2025
• Pay rate depends on education, experience, and credentials.
