Pride Health is hiring a Skilled Sterile Processing Technician Supervisor to support our client in the Baltimore, MD medical facility. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, offering a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all employees on an assigned shift in Sterile Processing (SP), including duties related to cleaning, assembly, sterilization of surgical instruments, and storage and transport of instrumentation, surgical sets, and patient care equipment, ensuring safety and customer service standards.
2. Provide education and training on case picking.
3. Coordinate transportation of borrowed instruments and equipment across multiple clinics, ensuring effective communication among all parties. Facilitate staff learning through educational programs.
4. Monitor and report quality and productivity within the department using measurement tools regularly.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of sterile processing experience.
• Advanced certification in sterile processing or an associate’s degree in sterile processing or a related clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Surgical Technology).
• Certification from CBSPD or CRCST (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) is required.
• CER or CFER certification preferred; CHL certification may be considered as an alternative.

Additional Information:

• Duration: 13 weeks contract
• Shifts: Monday-Friday, varied/evening shifts
• Hourly Pay: $36 - $37.50
