Job summary

Sotera Health, through Sterigenics, seeks a full-time Operator in Grand Prairie, TX. The role supports sterilization operations, monitoring system readings, and ensuring safe process control in a high-safety environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED with 6–12 months in a sterilization setting, fluent English, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and advancement opportunities are offered within Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months in a sterilization environment preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sterilization system readings (pressure, temp, humidity) on charts or monitors.
• Turn valves and adjust controls to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Observe sterilizers and report malfunctions to maintenance or supervisor.
• Document and record process readings.
• Report damaged product to Shift/Process Supervisor.
• Perform some daily/weekly equipment preventive maintenance tasks.
• Store and handle chemicals per procedures and laws.
• Participate in plant safety committees and follow safety rules.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor and Operators.
