Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a dedicated Operator to monitor sterilization systems and ensure safe, compliant operation in a fast-paced facility. You will observe readings, adjust controls, and document results as part of a team focused on product integrity and employee safety.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and bending.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months in a sterilization environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sterilization system readings (pressure, temperature, humidity).
• Turn valves and adjust controls for safe operation.
• Document process readings and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Operate and store chemicals per procedures.
• Participate in safety committees and follow regulations.
