Job summary

BD in Covington, GA is seeking a Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in sterilization to design, maintain, and improve our sterilization processes. The role focuses on reducing non-conformances, driving KPI results, and ensuring safety and quality.

This on-site position includes 24/7 on-call responsibilities after training, with remote troubleshooting when possible. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a PSM-regulated

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial).
2+ years of relevant engineering and equipment experience.
Experience within a PSM regulated manufacturing environment.
CAD experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance sterilization process systems while tracking KPI.
Update department procedures and ISO documentation as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reduce non-conformances.
Monitor equipment uptime and sterilization OEE.
Provide detailed performance reports and trend analysis to management using data analysis tools.
Train operators and technicians on system usage.
Manage projects from initiation through completion
Collaborate with Quality Assurance on equipment/process non-conformances and corrective actions
On-Call Responsibilities: 24/7 remote troubleshooting and coordination after training.
