Job summary

BD is seeking a Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in sterilization to design, maintain and improve sterilization processes. You will drive efficiency, ensure quality and safety, and be the primary on-site contact with 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

The role emphasizes process improvements, KPI tracking, and collaboration with QA to address non-conformances. On-site work with occasional remote support is expected in this busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial).
• 2+ years of relevant engineering and equipment experience.
• Experience within a PSM regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• CAD experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance sterilization process systems and track KPI.
• Update department procedures and ISO documentation as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment uptime and sterilization OEE.
• Provide performance reports and trend analysis to management.
