Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Sterilization Technician I to focus on sterilizers, washer decontaminators and cart washers. Knowledge of Steris, Amsco and/or Getinge sterilizers is beneficial but not required.

Must be able to travel and work with various clinical equipment. Responsibilities include inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and performance verification with minimal supervision; maintain equipment documentation; mentor other associates and support department improvements.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• AC/DC electrical knowledge required; read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Plumbing knowledge required; read and understand piping diagrams and identify basic plumbing components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of sterilization and decontamination equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Assist in inventory management and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor other associates and contribute to department improvements.
