Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking a CSS supervisor to lead decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and case cart preparation for the OR and CSS.

• Graduation from high school with an Associate, B.S. or B.A. in a health care related field or equivalent.
• Certification as an OR Technician, LPN Scrub Nurse, or NICHSPDP certification.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in Central Sterile Supply or OR with extensive instrumentation knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Oversees decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, wrapping, dispensing and preparing case carts and supplies for the OR and CSS.
• Schedules and supervises daily workflow; coordinates with surgeons, OR staff, vendors and customers.
• Manages CSS inventory control, ordering and receipt systems, and instrument kit counts.
• Acts as a buyer for instrumentation and supplies for CSS; ensures regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Develops and revises department policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
