Qualifications

• Sterile processing or Surgical tech experience required.
• Adheres to healthcare infection control regulations with high accuracy.
• Attends in-services/workshops; assists in training of new staff.
• Maintains professional guest relations and uses good English in written and verbal communication.
• Prioritizes tasks and calls for assistance when needed.
• Able to work independently and rotate across shifts; supports QA/PI programs.
• Expert user of Inventory Tracking System (SPM and Lawson).
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
• CRCST, CIS and CHL certifications strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track vendor loaner, consigned and owned instrument trays.
• Inventory, process, and return trays according to department policies.
• Distribute supplies or equipment and provide customer service.
• Collaborate with the Sterile Processing Manager and SPD leadership.
• Cross training will be provided.
