Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated sterile processing teammate to clean, decontaminate, and sterilize equipment used in patient procedures.

You will prepare case carts for current and next day schedules and ensure instruments and supplies are available for daily operations. You’ll perform rounds to retrieve items for reprocessing, maintain a safe, clean work environment, transport carts between departments, and uphold inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares case carts for current and next day schedule.
• Decontaminates, preps, packages and sterilizes clinical/surgical supplies for patient care areas, including linens.
• Ensures instruments and supplies are available as needed for patient care.
• Performs rounds to retrieve instruments, equipment and supplies for reprocessing.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Transports carts to and from designated departments/areas.
• Maintains instrument and inventory in all areas.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
