Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to prepare, package and sterilize reusable medical supplies and linens. You will collect, clean, disinfect, inspect and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to support patient care.

Qualified candidates have CNS/CDS certifications within 1 year of hire or completion of a central services program and at least 1 year of hospital sterile processing experience. Includes full-time day shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician certification within 1 year of hire.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification within 1 year of hire.
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program within 1 year.
• 1 year prior sterile processing tech experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
