Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to prepare, package and sterilize all reusable medical supplies and linens. The role collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.
• 1 year Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
