Purpose & Scope:
Responsible for cleaning and decontaminating medical equipment and instrumentation; preparing sterile procedure trays and equipment; operating steam, low-temperature sterilizers, and other sterilization equipment used within CSP; maintaining sterile/clean storage and all other department areas; answering phones and service doors; delivering requested items; completing all required documentation; maintaining the standards of the organization’s mission, goals, and safety behaviors; and assisting in other areas as requested. Participate in training and in-service programs for staff and students. Assume responsibility and accountability for quality performance at all times and represent the CSP department professionally.
