Qualifications

• 6 months of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a sterile processing program preferred.
• Completion of 400-hour sterile processing internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of instrumentation and medical equipment using chemical agents and automated machinery.
• Assembles, preps and packs instrumentation; inspects instruments for cleanliness and function; wraps or pouches instruments.
• Sterilizes instruments following prescribed procedures and monitors sterilization processes.
• Picks case carts according to resource map requisitions; stocks sterile storage area; maintains inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
