Baptist Medical Center - Sterile Processing Technician

This is a full‑time evening position at Baptist Jacksonville, Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, located at Baptist Medical Center Downtown.

Responsibilities

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes.
• Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re‑assemble into trays.

Experience Requirements

• 1–2 years of Instrument Experience.
• 1–2 years of Surgical Instrumentation Experience.
• Linen Processing Experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required, or
• Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required.
