Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking an Associate Sterile Processing Technician. You will prepare, clean, process, and store surgical instruments and supplies, with on-the-job training provided. The role supports patient care with attention to detail and strong communication with hospital staff.

The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 2pm-10:30pm, with two holidays per year. There are five levels of responsibility and pay growth within the department, plus access to Daily Pay for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare central processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong phone and computer skills.
• CRCST certification preferred within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all patient care and surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are properly inventoried, inspected, stored, distributed and reprocessed in a timely manner.
• Follows all standard operating procedures.
• Understands and demonstrates infection prevention and control guidelines.
• Recognizes potential and actual processing errors and follows up according to procedure or management instruction.
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintains workflow continuity.
• Utilizes applicable inventory systems in use.
