Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND seeks an Associate Sterile Processing Technician to prepare, clean, process, and store supplies and surgical instruments for patient care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior central processing or healthcare exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient care and surgical supplies are inventoried, inspected, stored and reprocessed in a timely manner.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Understand and follow infection prevention guidelines.
• Recognize and escalate processing errors per procedure or instruction.
• Complete tasks timely and maintain workflow continuity.
• Utilize inventory systems in use.
