Qualifications

• HSPA Certification as a Central Processing Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Prefer two years of experience in the handling and sterilization processing of surgical/medical instrumentation within the last four years or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, packages and processes surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Delivers medical/surgical supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Maintains inventory and storage of supplies in the core.
• Operates and troubleshoots power equipment used to process instruments (e.g., autoclaves, washer disinfector, ultrasonic cleaners).
