Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred 2 years in sterile processing.
• Certification through CRCST/IAHCSMM, CSPDT, or CFER required or within six months from hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care duties.
• Provides supplies for surgical procedures.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per MIFU.
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays per priority.
• Performs sterilization techniques per MIFU (HLP, standard methods).
• Maintains records and document control per SOPs and regulatory guidance.
• Adapts communication to patient care context and privacy requirements.
• Other related duties as assigned.
