Job summary

Roseville Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The role focuses on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, with additional PreOp and PACU assistance as needed to maintain a clean, orderly patient care environment.

The position requires a Sterile Processing program completion and CRCST/CSPDT certification, along with experience in a medical setting. Monday–Friday schedule with starting pay from $25–$38 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Sterile Processing program mandatory.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Sterile Processing experience in a medical setting expected.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers preferred.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation.
• Ability to set up operating room instrument trays.
• Familiarity with steam/gravity sterilizers and Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, and will assist in PreOp and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Schedule

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Pay

Starting pay Range: $25 - $38 per/hour, depending on experience

Required Skills & Qualifications
