Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support patient care by cleaning, sterilizing, assembling and wrapping surgical instruments, and restocking supplies. Under the direction of the Manager, Sterile Processing, you will prepare case carts and assist the team to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required qualifications include CRCST or CSPDT certifications within 1 year of hire; completion of a central service program is

Under the direction of the Manager, Sterile Processing, performs a variety of tasks related to cleaning, sterilizing and assembling and wrapping surgical instruments; picks case carts; restocks supplies and instrumentation; and completes other duties to facilitate the patient care team.

Required Qualifications:

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire, Or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation from a Healthcare Central Service Program from an accredited educational institution.
• Central Supply Room and/or Sterile Processing Department experience.
