Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling instruments, and to prepare case carts for surgical procedures.

Under the direction of the Manager, Sterile Processing, you will also restock supplies and help facilitate the patient care team. Join Kadlec in Richland, WA, and contribute to a culture of patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Must obtain listed Central Service certifications within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to perform cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling of surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments; wrap instruments and case carts.
• Restock supplies and instrumentation; assist with patient care team as needed.

Required Qualifications

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire, Or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from a Healthcare Central Service Program from an accredited educational institution.
• Central Supply Room and/or Sterile Processing Department experience.
