• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize instrumentation for OR, Surgery Center, and related units.
• Ensure sterility and proper handling of all instruments and supplies.

Sterile Processing Technician - Sterile Processing at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under general supervision of the Assistant manager, and the Supervisors, the Technician I is responsible for decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of all instrumentation, supplies, and equipment in the Main O.R., Surgery Center and other SJO units.

Required Qualifications:

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 yearExperience as a Central Service Technician in a hospital setting.
