HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized and ready for surgeries. Your focus on safety and attention to detail supports high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Work Experience as a sterile processing technician in lieu of Degree, or High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
