HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. You will clean and decontaminate surgical instruments, prepare sets, and ensure accurate labeling and storage of supplies to support patient care.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, training in sterile processing, CSPT certification, and relevant experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Training as Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Certification/Experience in Sterile Processing preferred.
• Previous Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT).

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment.
• Wrap, seal and accurately label items that are to be sterilized.
• Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linen and related supplies using sterilizers.
• Prepares surgical sets and instruments ensuring that all instrumentation is correct and accurate.
• Ensures that all instrument cards are kept up to date and accurate.
• Stores sterilized and prepared supplies and equipment in designated areas.
• Informs bio-med of equipment no longer service able or other problems that arise.
