Job summary

SurgCenter Pima Crossing is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prep supplies for surgeries. You will support OR teams by ensuring instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and readily available for procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, familiarity with sterilizers and operating room instrumentation, and knowledge of medical terminology. A Sterile Processing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Completion of Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
