Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL, is seeking a Central Sterile Technician for the Sterile Processing department. This full-time role features evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and requires call.

Responsibilities include decontamination, preparation, sterilization of trays and instruments, inventory management, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of CST experience, and a current BLS certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for new hires.
• At least two years of Central Sterile Technician experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.
