Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to perform decontamination, preparation and sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments and equipment, and to manage inventory and restock supplies. The role requires knowledge of department locations, access to all areas, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of CST experience in a hospital setting, Central Supply

• Central Supply Certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.

• Central Supply Certified certification, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.
