Job summary

Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Central Sterile Technician for full-time evenings (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with rotating call on weekends and holidays (within a 60-minute commute). Responsibilities include decontamination, preparation and sterilization of trays and instruments, inventory management, and accurate data entry.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; at least two years of Central Sterile Technician experience; Central Supply Certified preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for new hires effective April 2014.
• At least two (2) years experience as a Central Sterile Technician required; in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.
