This position involves working in a fast paced area (Sterile Processing) with anywhere from 25-30 cases (Ortho, Gen., Surg., etc.), must be able to stand most of the time, lift upwards of 25-30 lbs. Would prefer some Sterile Processing experience. There's an opportunity to learn, get additional training and ultimately earn a CRCST certification. MUST become certified (CRCST) within 2 years of hire date.
Inspect, assemble and evaluate all surgical instruments and instrument sets to ensure quality, determine need for repair/replacement, validate completeness of set, and facilitate effective sterilization.
