Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Technician to prepare, sterilize, and manage instruments for various clinical areas. You will identify, assemble, and package instruments and maintain accurate logs for accountability.

Responsibilities include processing soiled items, restocking carts, and contributing to supply management while following safety and quality standards. A high school diploma is preferred, CRCST certification is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CRCST certification preferred but not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Process soiled instruments and equipment per department policy.
• Identify, inventory, assemble, and package instruments for MOR, CVOR, OBOR and other areas.
• Maintain instrument accountability with proper logs and count sheets.
• Restock supplies and set up case carts according to surgery schedules.
