SCA Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Clerk to maintain instruments and equipment and prepare sterile supplies for surgical patients. You will work under Clinical Leader/Registered Nurse with a focus on sterilization and aseptic technique.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of sterilization/high-level disinfection, and prior instrument processing experience; BCLS certification within 90 days is required or current certification. Competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of employment or current BCLS status.
• Prior experience in instrument processing preferred.
• Certification in instrument processing is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains instruments and equipment in an optimal fashion.
• Prepares instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies for the surgical patient.
• Functions under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Registered Nurse.
• Cleans, wraps, sterilizes, and disinfects instruments and equipment; maintains the instrument processing area.
• Crossover duties in purchasing supplies and inventory management as needed.
