Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certificate after 2 years of employment preferred.
• 1 year hospital sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure processes meet manufacturer standards for decontamination, sterilization, assembly and packaging of reprocessed supplies and equipment.
• Deliver items from SPD, log temperature and humidity daily, stock department supplies, and perform wash checks.
• Assist OR staff with breakdown of tables, sterilization steps, and instrument handling.
